The sense of smell

How sensitive is your nose?
Can you pick up smells immediately or
are you insensitive and not bothered
by aromas or fragrances that initiate the
mood of your mind?
My nose is like a radar picking up anything
and everything!
Coffee, chocolate,  burnt sugar, breads,
the ocean, forests, hot springs, flowers and
certain people`s body odors are amongst
some of my favorite smells.
But raw meat, raw fish, cigarette smoke, burning
plastic, gas and smelly feet are some things that
I tolerate but my nose seems to defeat in retreat!
What are your favorite and least favorite smells?

hello,Clarissa!
I spoke to you on Erin’s phone before.

well, some of my favorite smells are baby’s body odor, cherry blossoms, cat’s odor which has just taken a bath, perfume, body cream, bath salt and fruit tea.

my least favorites are people’s strong body odors, sweaty and smelly bodies, and farts.

Hey Clarissa! I just finished a lesson with the beautiful princess and thought she’d definitely appreciate your blog site.

Now, I also have a very sensitive nose, even though it’s stuffed up with allergies most of the time. It’s a mystery, from a young age, how it’s possible to smell with a clogged up nose..but it seems to happen.

I love the smell of the ocean, the smell of soap, laundry dried on a sunny day, roses, the fragrance of Body Shop’s peach lotion (which they no longer have in Japan. boo!), freshly cut lumber, the smell of a new car, the smell of citrus, and freshly brewed coffee. (Oh, so many!!)

My nose can’t stand the smell of moldy tatami mats, garbage left in the sun, the stench of some public restrooms, smelly feet, smelly cow/pig stalls, fertilizer, cooked squid, wasps preserved in alcohol, and smelly damp laundry.
