(My father`s name card is titled “Village Energy”). My family has taught me
that we are all family regardless of colour, race, language barrier or beliefs.
Now this picture is taken from the window of a plane on the 28th of May 2008.
You are looking at Hokkaido.
I am in Sapporo at the moment and am visiting
Dion`s Japanese family and friends. Dion has flown from Australia especially
for his Japanese sister`s (Mireii) wedding, and I have come along with
him to join in the celebrations. We are having a grand time and and the
Tsubokawa family are treating us like royalty. Lots of eating, laughter, cheering and
late night entertainment by okasan (Fumiko), otosan (Mi-chan), Nicola and Simon
from Brisbane and the rest of the gang. Also met the dashing policeman that
Mirei will marry last night so I was on my best behaviour!
Mirei has lent her car to us and Simon has been the chauffeur taking us to
splendid places that takes our breath away.
Anyway my friends, I will keep you all up-dated as to what is happening with us in
Sapporro, Hokkaido. Tomorrow is Mirei and her policeman`s wedding and I am
really looking forward to it.
