Movie Reviews

Coming back to Japan on JAL gave me
the opportunity to watch 4 movies!!
*
I love watching movies because I always
marvel at the coincidences and messages
that seem to hit me into new concrete
realisations.

`THIS IS IT` (MICHAEL JACKSON) was
the first movie I saw and it brought
back lots of memories of when I was
growing up with my sisters and brother.
How we listened to music and sang; and
tried to mimic his dance moves!
My mum, sisters and I actually went to
see Micheal Jackson in concert in 1987.
It was sensational entertainment!

The next movie I saw is called` SURROGATES`
starring Bruce Willis who is in the first picture
on this blog. A very interesting show because
it kind of presents a world in which we are
living now and how we as humans have moved
away from being natural. It depicts all the
unecessary trauma that we go through in trying
to defy nature in order to live in a so called
`perfect world`. I recommend this to anyone
who is lost and in search of the truth..

LISTEN TO MY HEART is the English title of
a Japanese movie about Mai Kubota who is
a dj on a radio station that gives advice to her
listeners but doesn`t seem to practice it herself.
This screenplay brought back memories of when
I was a dj for radio i and how I would have loved
to have had a programme like that. The travel
show that I did was special and I loved reliving
the places that I had been to through the radio
but I used to think how terrific it would be to
have an access for the public to call up and talk
about things from their heart.(this is the second
picture of the Japanese actor in the above).

LOVE HAPPENS is the last film I watched and
it was another special story about a young
handsome man who helps people through his
positive book that he has written about surviving
after losing someone in death. I could identify
with it because not only in death but when
relationships come to an end; it can signify death
and the adventure and growth in living every
day as a new one after you lose someone dear to you.
Being alive is certainly a heavenly gift no matter how
difficult your situation may be. Remember to live
life as if there were no tomorrow!
