The word Guru comes from the Sanskrit language

which means Guide or Teacher and also means

`One Who Removes Darkness`

Sometimes as human beings we let the fear eat at our

lives. We try our best to keep our head above water,

but inevitably we tend to falter.

Years go by, and even though we are doing our best,

through every similar test, that is detrimental for our progress.

We say to ourselves did this not happen of late?

We hang our heads in fear, because change is unknown

so we cling to unhealthy old patterns, because they have already

been shown.

How do we release ourselves from constant fear, to find a new way?

We surrender to the Ultimate Guide to help direct

us in each and every way.

My life has changed completely since finding the Ultimate Guide.

It was difficult on my own and I felt so alone.

I have limited stress and no need to impress.

To be able to balance the material with

the spiritual, has opened new eyes to a

fantastic world for me, with deep meaning and cheer

steering head-fast away from fear!

Hey you!; out there, at Heart to Heart Club;

do you find it hard to keep your material

and spiritual afloat on your own? Have you

found a way to balance your existence?

Write in and tell us at Heart to Heart what

you have done to steer away from fear so

you can advise those that are so far away

from the cheer.

Hi Mandy
Tell us why my friend? I was just explaining to someone today about how it is beyond my comprehension how our Guru looks after all of our individual needs without selfish intend…

Hello,

I am using my imagination to deal with my fears, breaking the pattern of the mind when we engage into that mode is incredibly effective. Make a list of things to do and pull out this list when you feel the fear coming: I count and repeat the things I already have instead of counting the things I don`t have, I start writing a list of solutions to the situation, go for a walk, open the chest and breath deeply, look at a green open space, run, say hi to a stranger, soon I find myself in a different state of mind.

I believe that apart from the Guru we have chosen, we should also remember the Guru that lives within us. Our guides only tell us what we already know.

Om Shanti.

Om Shanti my friend

Thank you for sharing your special words with us that we in-trust.
I used to be similar in some of your rehabilitation techniques with fear, but for me in end, the same fear would suddenly creep up again on me and be near.
It happened by necessity that an important teacher in my life whom I had spent many years with; led me to my Guru whose main ambition for mankind; is to guide us to the Guru that lives inside. I could`nt tell the difference between my ego(because my ego was strong on helping people to the bitter end and I thought that was good)
or my spirit(which is always right with no expectation or results of intend). But with this Guide
that I have now, my ego has truly married the spirit within, only because My Guru has shown me a quick way to a new reality that `yes I can become my own Guru for myself`, but I shall never forget that before I was on the slow track to realization; before I was led to the Ultimate; so I have to say Om Shanti that no matter what- it is essential to have a Guru of the highest caliber to fast track you to your destination and grow love and affection for the Guru because only then you will understand, the meaning of the Role of the Master in our world that we in. We must stay humble at all times and give thanks for everything we receive(good and bad)and know in the
depths of our soul that the Guru knows best!
I love your contribution and thank you for being open.
Hope to hear from you again soon and Om Shanti to you too!

I have lived by fear for a long time. It is a cloak you wear so you can not get close to happiness because deep down you don’t feel you deserve it. Everytime I felt happiness fear of it being taken away overwhelmed me more. Beginning to trust and making little changes to the way I think has opened some light inside, so know when I feel fear I recognise the feeling, realise I don’t want to feel that and fill myself instead with as much thought of love and appreciation as I can. Gosh as simple humans can’t we make a big complexity of our lives! I wonder why bad habits seem easier. I loved your words Chris and say thankyou not just for the words but directing me to the right path.

recently my darkness removed.
my ego removed by realising unconditional love from my parents.

Gure comes when I daydream and let my mind freely at home.

my memory from childhood appeared in my head in this time.
I received nice message from my memory and people around me as I talked to them.
I realised I am very lucky to have unconditional love from my parents all the time.
I also realised my ego that I wantted to have more love from others, but it was enough for me to have it from my parents.
Now I want to pass the unconditional love to others.
Then naturally the ego has disapeared.

Wow Wee!!! It is so nice to hear such wonderful tributes from all of you! I am absolutely delighted to read messages from your lovely hearts and thank you for teaching me that we are all different in the way that we view life.
Thereis always something that we can learn from each other; and most importantly in growing from our experiences, in order to want to pass on the love that has been given to us is a truly wonderful feeling to have….

Test for progress, I am being tested right now as I type this. I’ll remember the Guru inside my heart and not let fear come near. :-)
At this moment, I am so excited about my soon-to-come journey!! 3 days and counting down.

I am now back from my trip and would like to share the unconditional love I felt during my trip and after.
I think it was the second day of morning group meditation…I sat in the back amongst 6,000,000 people from around the globe. There were about 6 big screens established in the big meditation hall. Our Guru entered the hall and through the big screen, I saw him take a seat in his chair. That moment I saw him lower himself to sit, my heart felt warmth and can’t really explain with words, but the word “unconditional love” entered my mind.
After coming back from my trip, I fell ill(influenza type A). I was told by the doctor that I need someone to look over me while I take the medication. It just so happened that my boyfriend had the next day off and my mother had the following day off. I received love from both and love from the hospital receptionist and doctor who frequently rang me to check how I was doing. I am on my way to recovery and grateful.

With love to all the people at Heart to Heart,
Reeney

Oh Erina Erina.

It is so nice that you know!!!!! A hard thing to explain as you say words cannot portray…. LOve, Love, UNCONDITONAL LOVE can only be felt; my sweet from the deep deep ocean bed of where your soul has been asleep.
Because it is awakening the new dawn is breaking on every horizon, only because of surrender to the quick path that has been given to us by the practice ;our Guru has gifted us with,to adventure onwards to our individual goal which will all take us back to the origin of retrospect.

Taking miseries as divine gifts is also a challenge and it was beautiful to read that you are accepting your circumstance with full understanding.
