In this world of ours,
happiness or unhappiness
begins with people meeting people
I wish you many happy encounters.

This is a beautiful book which was
gifted to me by some special people.

It has many beautiful poems and

phrases. I hope it crosses your path

one day as you will find simple

treasures to brighten up your day…

I treasure books that brighten my day and will keep an eye out for it in the future. I have a good friend who comes across all sorts of spiritual books, we love getting together for a cuppa and discussing everything and anything. It is one of the special moments I get without any kids around to be an adult again very enjoyable.

Hi Karen
Books are special my friend. This I agree with you totally as it can suspend one in the moment of each and every phrase…I often daydream about what goes on in the mind of the writer and usually I find some kind of conciliation in the daze that has engulfed my imagination. Like you, as of late I have found time to sit back and soak up the words of authors unknown, just to sneak a peek into other people`s worlds which are being exposed.

I have been blessed with many happy encounters and unhappy ones have taught me many lessons that were necessary for my growth. There is something I would like to share with everybody here. This was given to me about 3 years ago, 2005 from a beautiful friend who is very special. And now, I’d like to share it with people who I’ve met through this amazing blog site!
Hope it brightens up your day.

10 Happy Things

1. Look in the mirror every morning
SMILE!! … and say, “You’re gorgeous!!” ;-)

2. Think how lovely your family are… even when you’re fighting… :-)

3. Bless the weather! Rain is good for rice! Sun is good for the soul! Humidity
is good for… something!? -(it’ll come to you…)

4. Give yourself a present everyday… a nice cup of tea & 5 minutes relaxing…
a walk in the park… a pedicure… whatever you like!

5. If you’re listening to sad songs, think to yourself:
“I’m glad I’M not that depressed!”

6. Think of all the free time you’ve got to do fun things that YOU like to do
now!

7. Remember things can only get better… after rain comes sunshine… or even
a rainbow.

8. You can’t predict the exciting and wonderful things that could be
happening just 1 month or year from today! The future is SO exciting!!

9. …………………………….your very own happy thought………………………………..

10. Most of all… Remember… your friends LOVE you!!
