Kimono
In modern Japan you can
still see women wearing
Kimonos.
They are far and few to
be seen but I was lucky
enough to see these ladies
getting on their bus,
looking ever so elegant
and serene.
I wore a kimono about
15 years ago, once.
Everyone told me I looked
charming but I felt too
constricted in movement
so I lasted only an hour
as a Japanese Princess
from the West!
