The Flame Tree
Australia is just beautiful with many
different trees bursting with vibrant
colours including this passionate one
called “The Flame Tree”.

I have had a brilliant time here
and have just immersed myself in the
raw nature that this wild and pituresque
county has to offer.
*
I feel strength, passion and love every
time I see these majestic trees and
of course I feel blessed, to have been
able to view them during this
spring. I hope that one day you
may too, because it truly is a special
ting a ling a ling!

My brother Dion and his wife have
decided to move to Canada which
is the home of my beautiful sister-
in-law. This is why I decided to come
from Japan to spend time with my
special family before we are split up
again. This time is emotional because
we know it will be sometime until
we will be able to do this again.
*
But like “The Flame Tree”, our
love is strong and whenever
destiny permits us to reunite
as one, we can strum our passions to
our familiar colourful songs!
There is no such thing as coincidence.
I went to an independant bookstore and had to use
their restroom.
What an interesting toilet, I thought to myself. Many
posters advertising the latest book and movie
releases and this poster stating that

I have always been a firm believer in this because
I sincerely know that whatever finds its way into my
personal journey in this lifetime, is all a part of
a movie scene that I have a role in; and I am the only
Movie Star that can reason and play through anything
that the Director and Srciptwriter has prepared for
the show.

The only thing that changes in my role is that I
become Spirit and the True Director shines
through lighting the stage with love and devotion
through the other necessary actors’ that make appearances
in my on-going movie ;for true stardom….
*
There is no such thing as coincidence ,so remember; especially
when you have difficult roles to play ,to let your Spirit be the
Director and you will be able to see the mystical messages
of what the Divine is sending us through the ever so juicy,
grapevine!

おいしさの基準
以前、ケニアに行ったときに驚いたことがあります。
コカ･コーラを注文したときに、
ケニア人のガイドと運転手が、
冷えてない常温のコーラをオーダーした。
冷えてないコーラなんて、まずくて飲めない。
これは、僕らの常識。
でも、世界が変われば、おいしさも違うんですね。
日本でも、いろいろな驚きを覚えています。
小学生のころ、隣の友達のうちでは、
ご飯は炊き立てでなく、常に冷や飯でした。
これは、おとうさんが冷たいご飯がすきということで、
家族全員が、冷たいご飯を食べていた。
なれちゃうと、それが標準になるんでしょうね。
また、ある親子連れが遊びに来たときに、
朝食の目玉焼きに、ものすごい量のコショウを
かけていたのを覚えています。
それも、表面がまっ茶色になるぐらい･･･
しかも、幼稚園の子供まで、同じように
コショウをかけていたのに、またまたびっくり！
味覚がおかしくなるんじゃないの?
という心配をよそに、どんどんコショウを振りかけてました。
その家庭には、その家庭のおいしさの基準があるのですね。
海外旅行に出かけるたびに、日本の食のレベルは高いと
再認識していたのですが、よくよく考えてみると、
日本人の舌に合っているか、いないかということだけなのかも。
あのまずい食事がおいしく感じる人は、
日本の食に出会ったときにどう感じるのかな?
すごくおいしい？
まったく口に合わない?
興味深いところです。
PS)インドの人は後者だと思います。(^^;

A photograph taken so long ago on the
tranquil beaches of Fiji.
My brother, Dion and I were asked to go and
clean out our boxes that have been sitting
around their home for so long ;and of course
we got side-tracked together; only to discover
this great shot of our parents that have
kept the special flame of love alight in each
and every dawn.
Since this picture was taken, they have
spread their wings of union and responsible
living, to whomever have had the opportunity
to meet with them on a personal endeavour.

それよりも鍋の方が旨そうだ！

Ahhhhhhhhh Australia. A land that is blessed with
infinite natural wonders.

The lush green environment is so tantalising on
one’s eyes.
*
Massive flowering trees reaching out their arms to
the heavens arise.
*
Marshmellow clouds floating leisurely arcross the
horizon.
*
Waking up to the laughing Kookaburra birds in the
trees.
*
And Possums swinging gleefully making a racket
to be seen!
*
It’s nice to be back in the rugged beauty of Australia,
also known as “The Land Down Under”, where you
all must come and experience its natural wonders!!
ごみ処理の問題
毎日大量のごみが捨てられています。
通常これらはどういう処理がされるかというと、
焼却施設に運ばれて、燃やされます。
こう聞いて、普通疑問に感じる人は少ないと思います。
近年、声高にCO2排出量を抑えようと言われていますが、
なぜ地球上にCO2が増えるのか知っていますか?
実は、野菜や木片を燃やしてもCO2は増えません。
これはなぜかというと、もともと野菜などにはCO2は含まれていて、
その姿が変わるだけだからです。
では、どういう場合にCO２が増えるのか?
石油、石炭などの化石燃料を燃やす場合にCO2が増えるのです。
もともと地中に固定されていたCO２が大気中に放出されることで、
どんどんCO２の濃度があがっていっているわけです。
つまり、石油、石炭などの化石燃料を燃やさないようにする、
ということが、CO２削減につながるわけです。
さて、ごみの焼却に話を戻します。
ごみを燃やすには、重油を使います。
皆さんも経験があると思いますが、
濡れたものと乾いたものを燃やした場合、
どちらが燃えやすいか?
当たり前の質問ですいません。
乾いているほうに決まっていますよね。
生ごみは９０%以上が水分です。
それを燃やすということは、ものすごくエネルギーを使ってしまいます。
つまり、水分を蒸発させるために、重油を使って
燃やしているといっても過言ではありません。
昔ながらに、畑の肥やしとして土に返すようにすれば、
地球上のCO2は増加しません。
どうして、こんな話を知ったかというと、
最近、関わっている仕事で、生ごみを土に返す施設を作っている方々と
知り合いになったからなんです。
投入された生ごみは、数分後には、良質の肥料となってしまいます。
各行政機関でも、こんな生ごみ処理施設を導入してほしいものです。

うたた寝の秋
すっかり、秋らしい気候になってきました。
ぽかぽかした縁側に座っていると、
ついうたた寝をしてしまいそうです。
今の時代、のんびりとした時間がすごせたら、
それは、とっても贅沢なこと。
ゆっくりとした時間に戻ってもいいかな。
Locked Up
Being locked up is something that we artistically
do for ourselves.
We wake up somedays and wonder how we managed
to put ourselves in this miserable way.
Fear not my friends because there can be an end if
only we recognise that these iron bars have bend.

I HAVE JUST READ A SERIES OF BOOKS BY AN
AUTHOR CALLED WANDA E BRUNSTETTER.
IT TOOK ME INTO THE WORLD OF THE AMISH
PEOPLE WHO LIVE A VERY SIMPLE LIFE ACCORDING
TO THEIR DUTCH ANCESTORS IN TODAY`S WORLD.

THE CONTENTS OF THESE BOOKS WERE ABSOLUTELY
AMAZING; INCLUDING FACETS SUCH AS HOW THE
AMISH PEOPLE STILL DON`T USE ELECTRICITY, USE
HORSE AND BUGGY FOR TRANSPORTATION AND
HAVE A DEEP BELIEF IN THE AMISH FAITH WHICH
IS DERIVED FROM THE HOLY BIBLE.

A FRIEND OF MINE GAVE ME THESE SERIES ABOUT
A YEAR AGO AND I THOUGHT TO MYSELF`OH MAN
THESE LOOK BORING AS HELL`! BUT WHEN I STARTED
READING THEM A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO I GOT LOST
IN THE WORLD OF THE PLAIN PEOPLE AND COULD
IDENTIFY TO MANY OF THEIR EMOTIONS, DISCIPLINES,
MATTERS CONCERNING MYSTERIOUS OCCURRENCES
AND OF COURSE FORBIDDEN LOVE!

SUPER FANTASTIC BOOKS MY FRIENDS AND REMEMBER;
ONE SHOULD NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!
FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE USUALLY WRONG!!!
これはなんのお店？
さて これは何のお店でしょうか？
最初はさかなやかと思いましたが
右上にじゃがいもの文字が！
もしや八百屋？
でもなんで海の絵なんだろう？
と気になって調査に行きました。
近づくとスタッフ募集の貼り紙が
壁に貼ってあります
なるほど居酒屋か?
であれば魚とじゃがいもが
共存するのも唸づける。
そこへ一台の車が
側面には同じ絵が書いてある
そこには
介護福祉と書いてあった！
へー
