Butterflies

A magnificent gift of nature which spreads
its everlasting wings of bliss in abundance.
*
Just when you think everything is all too much.
*
The Gods` in the heavens` send messages of
love from above!
*
Be sure to keep your eyes open to encompass
natures magic to keep you from the tragic.
*
I guarantee that the butterfly is a secret messenger
of trustworthy blessings.

When do you know it is time to stop?
Lately I have been so busy; I actually took a flying
dive and literally dropped!
This is a magnet which is visible to us that work at
Heart to Heart.
I wonder when we will really put this practice to start!
When are you still and nurturing your will?
For me it is when I do my daily ritual of meditation.
I thank God I can take time out and cherish the moment
to be still with my maker.

Cupcakes for Dogs!

Recently I went to some outdoor
markets known as the `Farmers Markets`.
You can buy anything and everything there.
Hundreds of people flock there in the early
hours of the morning to do their shopping,
have breakfast and enjoy the inviting
atmosphere of all the hustle and bustle
by the riverside.
I was particularly entertained with this stall
selling cupcakes for dogs! I thought that
even though we are going through a world
wide economic crisis; at least there are
people who can still treat their dogs to cake
and cookies!

Sunflowers

Image149.jpg
This is a mosaic created with tiles that can be found
in the underground subway station of Hisaya Odori
in Nagoya, Japan. It is much larger than this; larger than
life and I love it because I have to say that my favourite
flower is the sunflower by sight!
*
Even though it has no lasting impression of smell.
The sunflower has always put me under its spell.
Its strong single stem, that holds its heavy head so
endearingly upright; without swell.
*
The seeds that are sprayed upon its nurturing way,
spreads happiness and encouragement for the
common passer-by on their way.
*
At night it tilts its head, to ground itself in a peaceful
sleep. Mother Earth germinates the seeds, to reproduce
more beautiful flowers for us to retreat.
*
And come morning again, it raises it head to the sun,
and smiles its glorious greeting, to each and everyone.

Heart to Heart at 10:00 am on Thursday, November 13, 2008

Lifestyle

We often hear the word `Lifestyle`.
It does make a difference to the body when we are
inhaling sweet oxygen for the lungs.
I believe that seeing green all around us can naturally
put one in a meditative realm.
To have a natural planet left for the children is
a worldwide challenge.
The future and the now is to be living in concrete
rubble, full of our worldly econimical troubles!
Some countries are still lucky to have Mother
Earth so near but when I came back to my beloved
Japan; I was stunned to see so much concrete and
lack of cheer…

Ancient Medicines

You may ask yourself what the people
of the ancient times did when they
were suffering from illness of the body.
*
I don`t know about all cultures but
recently I learned that the ancient
Romans and Greeks turned to natural
foods when their health was ailing.
*
These are some of the products used as
remedies or cures. They likened the produce
to the body parts of humans and used them
accordingly if that particular part of the
body was suffering.
*
Carrots when cut at the cross-section
leaves and impression of an eye so it
was eaten to cure eye-related diseases.
*
Capsicum for problems with the lungs
because of the shape and seeds which
resemble the air pockets.
*
Avocados for the womb of a woman because
of its shape, and even today women are
advised to eat avocados when pregnant.
*
Kidney beans for the kidney because of the
shape.
*
Walnuts for the brains .Walnuts look
like the human brain.
*
Tomatoes for the precious heart. It has
4 chambers like the heart!
*
If you know of any more ancient remedies
for the body from any culture please share
them with us at Heart to Heart.

From Me to You……

Heart to Heart at 11:53 am on Tuesday, November 4, 2008
Image122.jpg
Oh my love, whom flew away like a
majestic white dove heavy with dismay.
*
Here today and gone tomorrow. The
sorrow within is so deep with grief.
When will I see thee again? Will it be
so brief?
*
So much I wanted to say through my
hungry moist lips of passion. The time
was not right nor was the fashion.
*
You, that has been granted your bitter
wishes, may be shedding tears like the
amount of countless dishes, that were washed
with your prescious hands;only to give
you new realizations in your ever so
familiar homeland.
*
I so wanted to to embrace you in my
arms and sway in the rythmn of our charms.
To feel the urge of comforting you with
butterfly kisses.
To ease your sadness that was created;
perhaps through self-centred madness.
*
I wish you all that your heart desires and
may the heavy rains wash away your pain.
Be true to yourself my beautiful friend and
fight like a lion until the ultimate end.
*
Live your life like knowing that your last
breath is near and most of all my friend,
let go of the fear!
*
