ちび(愛犬の柴犬)が、セミを見つけて遊びだしました。
野性の本能が目覚めたのか、夢中で攻撃しています。
あれつ、パクってなんかムシャムシャしてる･････。(-_-;)
OBAMA Fever!
In Fukui Prefecture there is a city called
OBAMA CITY.
The Japanese residents of this city seem to
be dedicated supporters of the president
of the USA. Even to the extent of having
souvenirs of mini dolls, cookies, cakes
and other paraphernalia .
Although, when I asked the shop assistant
what she thought of Obama. She said,” he
doesn`t mean anything to me!”
黒猫
オフィスにつくと、上から見下ろす輩を発見。
ふと、目が合いました。(･_･;
殺気を感じたのか、カメラを向けると、そそくさと退散していきました。
このあたりは、結構猫が多いんですね。
毛並みがいいので、飼い猫なのかもしれません。
Floating Love
I stayed in a gorgeous resort whilst I was in India and you could
find love floating all throughout the hotel with with these glorious
flower arrangements. It was delightful to be mesmerized by its
simple splendour and daydream as to what the feeling of that
moment would reveal…..
ゾウさんのジョーロ
スーパーに行ったら、懐かしいゾウさんのじょうろがありました。
ワープロで打つと、如雨露となります。
こんな漢字だったんですね。
雨のように濡らすって意味なんでしょうか。
ゾウさんのじょうろは、水やりやりも子供のおもちゃのほうが
似合ってそうですね。
Gary’s
Gary’sに行ってきました！
ここには数年ぶりにきました。
日本語では、ゲーリーズと発音しますが、
クラリッサ曰く、英語的には、ガーリーズと発音するらしいです。
モータウンサウンズが楽しめるGarysでは、80-90年代の曲が人気ですね。
お客さんも、40-50代が多かったです。
Pretty Amazing
I thought this was pretty amazing. There are many artists out there that use
many different tools to create art such as tomato sauce, french fries, liquid
chocolate(yummy),noodles,toast and many other food products including
Australia`s top selling bread spread called “Vegemite”.
Unique Wedding & Dance
If you are thinking of getting married in the near future have you ever thought of doing something like this??

Looks like fun and one of my friends suggested that I should get
married like this and he is looking forward to my wedding if it will
be like this!!

I told him that one has to have ingredients to a marriage and it was
his job to find me a nice `Single Man`!
Fukui Prefecture
I have just come back from Fukui Prefecture and
had a simply beautiful time at Suisho Hama Beach
(Crystal Mountain Beach), in Wakasa .

It had been a long time since I frolicked in the
buoyant ocean feeling my soul become one with
the sun, sand and sea.
*
As I floated on the caressing water I marveled at
the simplicity of being swept away in this theme.
久しぶりに山に行ってきました。
今回は、駒ヶ根キャンプセンターに行ってきました。
ここは、高床式のツリーハウスという、面白い宿泊設備があります。
小さなケビンが傘のように立っています。
結構すぐれもので、上は涼しく、下では雨やつゆをしのげます。
ここでキャンプをされる方は、これがお勧めです。
※フリーテントエリアは、ロケーションが悪くお勧めできません。
ここは、緑たっぷりの森の中にあるので、昼でもとても涼しいです。
秋に来たら、きっと紅葉もきれいだと思います。
また来てみたいですね。
まわりには、ちょっとした散策路もあるんですよ。
運が良ければ、きつつきにも出会えるかもしれません。
メンバーは、ダッチオーブンが大好き！
毎回ごちそうを作ってくれます。
※ちなみに私は写真担当。
今回は、鶏のハーブ焼きでした。
Little Angel
A couple of days ago I was blessed to have
the company of this little angel and of
course his sweet mother who comes for
English class at Heart to Heart English .

Ko-Kun is usually in kindergarten but
he has summer holidays so his mum asked
if she could bring him with her for class.
*
Ko-Kun is a special boy with great manners,
eager to tell stories, very intelligent, showed
me how Kangaroos, elephants and snakes
move, read me a story book, drew pictures
of all of us in the room, made scenarios out
of blocks and was just a supreme spirit who
brightened up our office with lots of love!

日本では、シングルというと、独身という意味ですよね。
海外では、かならずしも独身ということではないんです。
たとえば、彼女がいる彼氏の場合は、シングルとは言いません。
奥さんでなくても、特定の相手がいる場合は、シングルと言わないんですね。
もし好きな外国人がいる場合、シングルじゃないって言われても、
相手は結婚してない可能性があるので、あきらめないでね。(^^;;
YUKATA in English Class!

Cultural Centre) in Nagoya and amongst
the many students there, this man walked
through the door!

I was so excited to see this handsome
young man dressed in full summer
yukata from head to toe! What a lucky
girl I am, I thought and insisted, against
his shy refusals that we take a picture
together .

Women say they can`t resist a man in uniform.
What about a man in YUKATA ??? MMMMmm
夏野菜
ことしも、おばあちゃんの家で、夏野菜が採れました。
日照不足が原因で、いつものようには育ってくれないようです。
今年の夏は、野菜にとって深刻な状況ですね。
盆明けからは、結構野菜の価格が上昇するのではないでしょうか。
それから、虫が全然いないです。
いつもなら、うるさく泣き叫んでいる蝉も、ほとんど鳴いてないし、
トンボもあんまり飛んでないですね。
ちょっと心配です。
Modern Japan
Look who Nami, Erina and I found on our way to the
Cold Stone Ice-Cream shop.

A real Geisha from Kyoto graced us with her colourful
creative appearance and coyly posed in front of
`Anpanman`(the animation character`s head which
is all made out of sweet red bean paste; grinning to all
from the plate his head is on!)

I thought to myself WOW this is Modern Japan at its
best!

From left to right：
Erina (photographer) the gorgeous Japanese bred American
who is bi-cultural and bilingual.
Nami,Ｔhe young, beautiful charismatic individual;
who is unique in her thoughts that sometimes separate
her from `the normal sport`.
The Geisha from Kyoto whom we stole from
her companion; to take a photo with, for a few moments
of her precious expensively bought time.
Anpanman who is a hero for Japanese children.
And me, a foreigner who feels very at home among
whatever present day Japan has on show for me to bestow!
酒井法子一色
世の中、酒井法子一色になってますね。
昨夜も嫁さんと、たぶんクスリ抜くために逃げてるんだろうなぁ
って話していたら、いきなり指名手配されてしまった。
なんか一昔前のOJシンプソンを思い出します。
マスコミの対応も面白くて、最初は酒井法子さんと書いてあったけど、
息子が見つかったあたりから、酒井法子の長男（１０歳）保護、とか
呼び捨てになってしまった。
そして、逮捕状が請求され、酒井法子容疑者になったとたん、
写真などは一斉に、無愛想な写真に変わってしまった。
極悪非道な悪人が、かわいらしい笑顔ではまずいのかな？
次に焦点になるのが、いつ捕まるのか？ ですね。
ここまで引っ張ってるので、尿反応がなくなる２週間は潜伏説が
有力となるんだろうけども、毛髪とればわかるらしいですね。
ただ、それが証拠にはならないとか…
身延山といえば、大きな宗教団体があることで有名。
一説によれば、ある宗教団体がかくまっているとか？
出てきたときには、頭を丸めて尼僧になってたりして。(^^;;
しかも、選挙の日に出てきたりして・・・
