This is one of the many little shrines that
you can find in the large area of Ise Jingu where
it is Japan`s number one place of worship;
boasting its peaceful atmosphere and
known to the Japanese as a major
`Power Spot`. Junko, above, is saying a prayer
to the `River God`. The shrines represent some
aspect of nature in the Shinto religion and you
will see many people throwing money into
donation boxes and offering their prayers
throughout the whole of this tranquil piece of
paradise.I saw people talking and praying
intensely to tress, putting their hands above
rocks which were renowned to be power spots
and believing they had received power.

The Dalai Lama came here 2 years ago and it
was said that he cleaned the whole area with
his subtle energy. Coincidentally, a friend of mine
who attended this honourable meeting with the
Dalai Lama came away with her forearms and
hands that have a shimmery glitter which
doesn`t seem to wash off in the bath! She has
been sparkling for two years and it is very
visible to the eye!!

I had a wonderful day enjoying the company
of being with 3 great ladies and was grateful
to be able to spend time in such a pristine
place overflowing with fresh air, effervescent
rivers and was surrounded by massive trees that
reached for the sky; which has all been well
preserved for over a couple of thousand years.
