Do you care what kind of world we are living in? And have you thought

there may be nothing left of this world in the next 20-30 years?

Are you taking action to make a difference in reducing the consumption

of oil and unnecessary consumerism ?

If so, thank you for thinking of our children`s future to have a planet

to live in.

If not, you may want to take time and consider that time is running out

so you have to do everything now to make your children`s world

one where there is fresh air for them to breathe.

Do you have any suggestions as to what we should do from now?

Or are you too busy and will think about that problem when its

evident that we cannot breathe the air that we have destroyed?

Today one of my students told me that she went to see The Dalai Lama

in Nagano on the 19th and 20th of June,this month. Junko told me

that his message to the Japanese people was to have peace in their

hearts before they can be peaceful to others.

He also said that Japanese people should learn English so that they can

broaden their minds and hearts to be a part of the world and the environments

that other people live in so they can start to be more communicative

and integrated; instead of segregated from what`s happening in true reality.

アメリカのＢＰ社によるオイル漏れ事故はまだ続いています。

こんな波が押し寄せる海になってしまっているんですね。

今回は、タンカーの座礁どころのレベルじゃないです。

はやく、オイル漏れが止まる事を祈っています。

この週末は、オイルじゃなくてペンキまるけになっていました。

おかげで、ボロかった新事務所が、真っ白な空間に生まれ変わりました！

7月早々に引っ越しますので、お楽しみに！

One day a father and his rich family took his son to a trip to the country with the firm purpose to show him how poor people can be. They spent a day and a night in the farm of a very poor family. When they got back from their trip the father asked his son, “How was the trip?” “Very good Dad!” “Did you see how poor people can be?” the father asked. “Yeah!” “And what did you learn?”

The son answered, “I saw that we have a dog at home, and they have four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of the garden, they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lamps in the garden, they have the stars.
Our patio reaches to the front yard, they have a whole horizon.”
When the little boy was finishing, his father was speechless.
His son added, “Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are!”

Isn’t it true that it all depends on the way you look at things? If you have love, friends, family, health, good humor and a positive attitude towards life you’ve got everything! You can’t buy any of these things, but still you can have all the material possessions you can imagine, provisions for the future, etc., but if you are poor of spirit, you have nothing!

Heart to Heart English Clubは、7月初めに引越します。

現在、ボランティアスタッフが力を合わせて作っています。

me a surprise birthday party, when I lived in Nishi Gifu. I was

so happy and I felt so much love from everyone. Thank you

for all of your kindness to me over the years!!! I love you lots!”!

それにしても、関係者の方は、7年間お疲れさまでした。

これだけ感動を与えた探査機は他になかったですね！

You will see that when you act in a responsible manner everything has a shiny face to it. You will see it on the faces of people walking by. You will feel it in the words of people you know or don`t. There will be an unexplainable wonder exploding from within….

But when you do something wrong and do not take responsibility for your actions there is a darkness that only YOU created because YOU didn`t take action to fix YOUR  mistakes.

More people will be involved because of your selfish goals and then when everything comes tumbling down you decide its not your fault and try to put the responsibility on someone else…

Mistakes are gifts because you have the opportunity  to learn from them, move on quickly, try your hardest not to make the same ones again and most of all be responsible for them instead of running away and trying to make it someone else`s!

A friend visited me recently at our Heart to Heart office and asked me if I knew about the author of `Creating Sacred Space with Feng Shui`. I replied `no`, and have since perused through the pages of this book.

I`m happy to say I live quite minimally and don`t have many possessions to weigh me down and agree with many of `Karen Kingston`s perceptions…

I think if you live with what you need and you have a lot of empty space it will be naturally filled with the right contents in order to grow materially as well as spiritually.

If you haven`t used something for a while throw it away because it will just take up space; not allowing for something new to enter and prosper!
